A duo of two musical soul mates that found each other in their shared passion for swing jazz and traditional music styles.
The half-Italian guitarist and singer Jonathan Manes creates a solid foundation for the music and takes you
on a dreamy journey to faraway lands with his beautiful voice while the upcoming guitarist Djalt Baculalay from Ghent

plays magnificent lines and melodies on guitar and bouzouki and sings traditional gypsy songs from a bygone age in Romani.

 

Together these two passionate musicians bring a unique repertoire from Italian chanson and rare gypsy songs

to Viennese and Russian traditional melodies and lost Sicilian folklore with a good portion of individuality and swing.

The duo can be expanded to a quartet featuring an accordion and a double bass (for example during bigger events and long concerts etc.)
